Both our Standard and Hafidh tracks aim for recitation fluency with meticulous detail to tajweed, memorization with understanding of the passages is emphasized and tought by native Arabic speakers.

Islamic Studies

    How to Join MVS?

    Admission to the school is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Completing all the steps below in a timely manner is critical for enrollment to secure a spot for your child, failure to do so within 15 days of receiving the acceptance letter will forfeit your spot.

    3 Simple Steps To Join Muslimeto Virtual School (MVS)
    Step 1: Registration

    A separate application is required for enrollment for each new MVS student.

    Step 2: Placement Test and Interview

    Once you apply, you will receive an email with a link to schedule the placement test. Grade placement decisions will be communicated to families through the primary email on file.

    Step 3: Required Documentation and Fees

    For applications to be considered complete, the following required documentation must be submitted in a timely manner:

      • Sign the digital agreement.
      • Ensure fees and 1st-month tuition are successfully processed. 

      • Provide required documentation including a letter of the previous achievement(s) (for 1st grade and above) with a character reference from a former teacher or principal (or if not available, from Parent).

    The academic program is organized on a traditional 50-minute class as follows:  

      • Each Academic Year includes 2 Semesters (each Semester is 16 Study Weeks)
      • Each Semester includes 2 Terms (each Term is 8 Study Weeks)
      • Each Study Week includes Daily classes Mon-Thu (2 classes per Day)

    The MVS curriculum has been designed specifically for online learning. Our digitally enhanced curriculum engages students’ minds and hearts. From exploring the world around them to building social and emotional skills, our students make the most of every moment.

    Our digitally enhanced curriculum is based on premier publishers that follow the best standards. In addition, your child will receive exciting, cutting-edge, and engaging content that compliments the official curriculum.

    Holy Quran

    Foundation Stage the object is to learn how to read the Holy Quran and memorize few Surahs, while capturing the basics of proper pronunciation based on Tajweed rules.

    Grades 1-12 The focus will be reading, understanding, and memorizing few Ayahs every week, with an objective to eventually completing about 3-5 Juz’s of the Holy Quran by G12 according to the student’s level.

    (Optional) Hafidh Track: The objective will be to memorize the Holy Quran by Grade 10, with an option to study for the Ijazah in Grades 11 and 12, insha’Allah.

    Arabic Language
      • The curriculum series is based on the Afaq curriculum and enhanced with extra projects, activities, and interactive resources to meet learning objectives.
    Islamic Studies
      • The curriculum series is based on I Love Islam and enhanced with extra projects, activities, and interactive resources to meet learning objectives. It’s important to note that we only teach from Quran and authentic Hadith the school follows Ahl Sunnah Wal Jama’ah (Sunni Madhab).

    Tuition and Fees are collected to cover the overall teaching, administrative, and support teams overhead, technical platforms, and other operational costs of the school. Therefore, your timely payments are greatly needed and appreciated.

       Recurring Tuition (every 4 weeks): $80 
       One-Time: $25 Application Fee Per Child (Non-refundable) 
       One-Time: $60 Book Fee (Non-refundable)

    Grades 1-12

       Recurring Tuition (every 4 weeks): $60 per subject or $160 for all 3 subjects (Full Track)
       One-Time: $25 Application Fee Per Child (Non-refundable)

       Hafidh Track: additional $90 fee to the Quran subject (student must be nominated and/or meet requirements to join)

    1. Tuition after the 1st week is not refundable, and both Application and Book Fees are not refundable.

    What Madhab do you follow?

    Our school curriculum and teaching methodologies are based on the  Holy Quran, and authentic Sunnah and follow Ahl Sunnah Wal Jama’ah (the Four Madhabs or Schools of Thoughts). 

    Who teaches the Muslimeto Virtual School classes?

    Muslimeto Virtual School has full-time instructors who are native Arabic-speaking teachers, highly qualified and have experience in teaching Non-Arabic speaking students through distance learning. 

    What are the pre-requisites?

    Foundation Level: there are no pre-requisites for the Foundation Level.

    For Grades 1-12: the learning objectives of the previous grade level must be met to enroll in the grade. This is evaluated during the placement test and discussed during the family interview.

    What if my child is at the wrong Grade level?

    We will conduct a placement test to ensure assigning your child to the right grade level, but if you find that the class material is too difficult or too easy for your child, the school administration will work with you to move the child into a different Grade Level that is more suitable.

    Does Muslimeto Virtual School have a grading scale?

    Yes, Muslimeto Virtual School provides a numeric average that represents the students’ performance in each class which determines the letter grade.

    What is the language of instruction?

    For the Arabic Language, our teachers gradually use Arabic as the main language of instruction, relying on images and animations when needed to help your child learn and understand easily.

    In Quran and Islamic Studies, English will be the main medium of communication while Arabic terms will be translated or explained.

    Who can apply for the Muslimeto Virtual School?

    Parents can apply for children ages 5-13 to join the Muslimeto Virtual School. 

    How to register my child in the MVS?

    When is the registration deadline (22/23)?

    The registration closes seven days after the first day of class for each semester.

    Can my child join one or two study area(s) only?

    Absolutely! Even though each study area complements the overall program and it’s recommended to join the full track, we have considered in the program structure that some families have tight schedules or special needs and may only join one subject or two.

    At this moment we offer two schedules, morning and late afternoon, to accommodate most families. If neither of these schedules works for you and your child, we suggest that you enroll your child in our 1-on-1 tutoring programs.

    Tuition and Fees
    How much does it cost?

    Full Track (All 3 Subjects): The fee is $160, paid every 4 study weeks.  
    Per Subject: The fee is $60 per subject, paid every 4 study weeks.  

    How much does the Hafidh Track cost?

    The fee for the Hafidh Track is an additional $90 every 4 weeks. This fee is in addition to the Quran subject fee.
    Students attend additional 2 Hrs of classes on Saturdays and Sundays.

    Yes, we offer two types of discounts as follows: 

    Existing students Discounts

    We are offering a limited-time 10% tuition discount for active Muslimeto students currently enrolled in our tutoring programs and joining the Muslimeto Virtual School.

    Sibling Discounts:

    10% tuition discount applies to the first sibling enrolled.
    20% tuition discount applies to any additional sibling(s) enrolled.

The class dashboard contains a digitally enhanced curriculum, activities, as well as online discussions. Students’ attendance is required for all class sessions. All class sessions are recorded, and students are required to watch the recording if they are unable to attend the live class.

    Does my child need to speak Arabic to join?

    Absolutely Not! Our digitally enhanced curriculum is specially designed for non-native speakers and, our instructors are qualified and experienced in teaching non-Arabic speaking students using varied approaches and methodologies.
