She is a native Arabic speaker who has studied Arabic & Islamic Studies at the esteemed Al-Azhar University in Egypt during college. U. Hager is a Hafiz with 3 Ijazat (Asem, Tohfat al atfal and Al-Jazaria), masha’Allah. She has extensive knowledge on best practices for teaching Quran and Tajweed to non-Arabic speaking students. She can communicate effortlessly in English as she is a TEFL certified English teacher from Cambridge University. She gained a well-rouded knowledge base of Islamic studies and Quran at the institute of Islamic studies, Egypt over the course of 2 years. In 2011, she finished memorizing the Holy Quran and attained a well deserved ‘Ijazah’ of recitation. U.
